South Africa's National Minimum Wage

The National Minimum Wage (NMW) from 1 March 2024 is R28.79 per hour for most workers. This includes domestic workers and farm workers. Learners on work-integrated learning programs and EPWP workers earn a lower rate of R15.83/hr.
