Pressure Converter
Convert between pascals, kilopascals, bar, PSI, atmospheres, and mmHg. Three tiers: Quick, Extended with pressure gauge and SA tyre reference tables, and Professional with hydrostatic pressure, altitude pressure, and blood pressure ranges.
How to Use This Converter
Select the pressure units and type a value in either field. In South Africa, tyre pressure gauges commonly show PSI and bar. Weather pressure is reported in hPa (hectopascals, equivalent to millibar). Medical blood pressure uses mmHg.
The Extended Calculator includes a pressure gauge visualisation and clickable SA vehicle tyre pressure reference tables. The Professional Calculator adds hydrostatic pressure at depth, ISA atmospheric pressure at altitude, and blood pressure categories.
